There are flexible account options to accommodate both single practices and teams working across multiple locations. Below is an overview of the available account types and a step-by-step guide to converting an individual account to a multi-user account.
Overview of Account Types
Practice Plans: Designed for a single practice, these accounts are accessible only from the hospital’s approved IP address. This ensures secure and localized access for a specific practice.
Multi-User (Group) Accounts: Ideal for teams working across different clinics or states. One person creates the account as the admin and invites others to join. This setup allows seamless collaboration across multiple locations.
Steps to Convert an Individual Account to a Multi-User Account
Sign in to your account (app.plumbs.com) using a computer or tablet.
Click the Account icon located in the top-right corner of the interface.
Navigate to Subscription Details.
Under the Plan Details section, select Add More Users.
Specify the number of licenses you need, including your own.
Review the updated plan details and payment information, and agree to the terms and conditions.
Click Confirm Purchase to finalize the conversion.
Key Considerations for Multi-User Accounts
Collaboration Across Locations: Multi-user accounts are particularly useful for teams operating in different states or clinics, enabling efficient sharing of patient records and other resources.
Admin Role: The account creator acts as the admin and manages user invitations and permissions.
Plan Customization: You can adjust the number of licenses based on your team’s needs, ensuring scalability as your practice grows.
By following these guidelines, you can effectively manage or transition to a multi-user account, enhancing collaboration and operational efficiency across your team.
