Sometimes, you know exactly what drug you’re looking for. Other times, you might want to explore the latest updates, refresh your memory on a specific class of drugs, or simply browse what’s available. That’s where the Drug Monographs page in Plumb’s comes in.
Instead of searching for a specific drug, you can scroll through the entire library of veterinary drug monographs, organized alphabetically by generic name, making it easy to find information—even when you’re not sure where to start.
How to Browse Drug Monographs
On the Web or Desktop
If you’re using Plumb’s from a computer or tablet, click on “Drug Monographs” in the sidebar. This will take you to the full list of veterinary drugs available in Plumb’s.
💡 Don't see the sidebar? On smaller screens, it collapses to give you more space to browse. Click or tap on the three-line menu in the top left corner of your screen to expand.
In the Mobile App
On iOS and Android, you can browse the full drug library by opening the Features tab and selecting Drug Monographs.
Once you’re in the Drug Monographs section, you can scroll through the list or jump to a specific letter. Just tap or click a letter (like R) to see all drugs that start with that letter.
Why Browse Instead of Search?
Search is always the fastest way to find what you're looking for—but it does rely on you knowing the first three letters of the drug's trade or generic name.
For those moments when the name just won't come to mind—but you'll know it when you see it—browsing can be helpful.
Drugs are organized alphabetically by generic name. Just tap on a letter to expand the section.
New & Updated Drugs: Stay Up to Date
At the top of the Drug Monographs section, you’ll see two special categories:
New Drugs – Recently added monographs appear here for 60 days or until you interact with them.
Updated Drugs – Any recently revised drug monographs will show up here so you can quickly review key sections for changes.
These sections help ensure you don't miss important updates, whether it’s a new approval, a dosing change, or a safety update.
